Application for the Right to Erect a Memorial / Memorial Work

This application is to be submitted to the Rousdon Estate Cemetery Limited prior to the erection, refurbishment, or replacement of a memorial. No work is to commence until a memorial permit has been issued and the Memorial Mason has notified the Cemeteries Officer of the fixing date and time.

The number of grave must be engraved on the back of all new and replaced headstones in letters not less than 5/8ths of an inch in height.

As the owner of the right of burial in the grave referred to herein, I hereby apply for the above memorial work. If this application is for a new memorial, I understand that the Right to Erect and Maintain a Memorial is granted in perpetuity providing that I maintain the memorial in a safe condition and subject to the RECL’s cemetery regulations. I will notify RECL, should I change my address.

Adult section:

Temporary memorials:
Wooden crosses not exceeding above height permitted for twelve months after burial.

Flat memorial tablets:
